Methodology
Every Jaras story goes through defined steps before it is published, so you know where each figure comes from and how far to trust it.
1. Sources
We rely on primary sources: company filings with the SEC, official company press releases, government agencies such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Federal Reserve, and licensed price data providers.
We cite the source of every story below it, with a link wherever possible.
2. Writing
We use AI tools to draft and translate, following an approved glossary and strict rules: no opinions, no forecasts of our own and no buy or sell language.
3. Checking the figures
Every figure in a story is automatically matched against the original source: revenue, earnings, percentage changes and dates. Figures we calculate ourselves, such as growth rates, are marked as “computed”.
A second, independent model then reviews the story for any conflict with the source. A story that fails this review is not published.
4. Reliability
Each story shows a reliability indicator that reflects how closely it matches its sources and how many sources confirm it.
5. Corrections
When we find an error, or a reader reports one with the “Report an error” button, we correct the story and record the change and its date in the corrections log. We never silently delete a published story; withdrawn stories carry a notice.
